It uses Cron syntax to schedule the checks and comes along with a Web UI and a RESTful JSON API. Ky targets modern browsers and Deno. For older browsers, you will need to transpile and use a fetch polyfill and globalThis polyfill. For Node.js, check out Got. Internally, the standard methods (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, HEAD and DELETE) are uppercased in order to avoid server errors due to case sensitivity. Search parameters to include in the request URL. Setting this will override all existing search parameters in the input URL. After prefixUrl and input are joined, the result is resolved against the base URL of the page (if any). The hook can return a Request to replace the outgoing request, or return a Response to completely avoid making an HTTP request. This can be used to mock a request, check an internal cache, etc. An important consideration when returning a request or response from this hook is that any remaining beforeRequest hooks will be skipped. -

CVE-2021-31166
Remote HTTP.sys use-after-free triggered remotely
This is a proof of concept for CVE-2021-31166 ("HTTP Protocol Stack Remote Code Execution Vulnerability"), a use-after-free dereference in http.sys patched by Microsoft in May 2021. The bug itself happens in http!UlpParseContentCoding where the function has a local LIST_ENTRY and appends an item to it. When it's done, it moves it into the Request structure; but it doesn't NULL out the local list. The issue with that is that an attacker can trigger a code-path that frees every entry of the local list leaving them dangling in the Request object. -

Drill is an HTTP load-testing application written in Rust. The main goal for this project is to build a really lightweight tool as an alternative to other that require JVM and other stuff. You can write benchmark files, in YAML format, describing all the stuff you want to test. It was inspired by Ansible syntax because it is really easy to use and extend. As you can see, you can play with interpolations in different ways. This will let you specify a benchmark with different requests and dependencies between them. Right now, the easiest way to get drill is to go to the latest release page and download the binary file for your platform. OpenSSL is needed in order to compile Drill, whether it is through cargo install or when compiling from source with cargo build. -

Martian Proxy is a programmable HTTP proxy designed to be used for testing. Martian is a great tool to use if you want to verify that all (or some subset) of requests are secure. Mock external services at the network layer. Inject headers, modify cookies or perform other mutations of HTTP requests and responses. Verify that pingbacks happen when you think they should. Unwrap encrypted traffic (requires install of CA certificate in browser) By taking advantage of Go cross-compilation, Martian can be deployed anywhere that Go can target. Martian Proxy added support for Go modules since v3.0.0. If you use a Go version that does not support modules, this will break you. The latest version without Go modules support was tagged v2.1.0. For logging of requests and responses a logging modifier is available or HAR logs are available if the -har flag is used. Once Martian is running, you need to configure its behavior. -

The structural constraints and permissions in the database determine the API endpoints and operations. Using PostgREST is an alternative to manual CRUD programming. Custom API servers suffer problems. Writing business logic often duplicates, ignores or hobbles database structure. Object-relational mapping is a leaky abstraction leading to slow imperative code. The PostgREST philosophy establishes a single declarative source of truth: the data itself. It’s easier to ask PostgreSQL to join data for you and let its query planner figure out the details than to loop through rows yourself. It’s easier to assign permissions to db objects than to add guards in controllers. (This is especially true for cascading permissions in data dependencies.) It’s easier to set constraints than to litter code with sanity checks. -

go-mitmproxy is a Golang implementation of mitmproxy that supports man-in-the-middle attacks and parsing, monitoring, and tampering with HTTP/HTTPS traffic. httr is superseded: only changes necessary to keep it on CRAN will be made. We recommend using httr2 instead. The aim of httr is to provide a wrapper for the curl package, customized to the demands of modern web APIs. Functions for the most important http verbs: GET(), HEAD(), PATCH(), PUT(), DELETE() and POST(). Automatic connection sharing across requests to the same website (by default, curl handles are managed automatically), cookies are maintained across requests, and an up-to-date root-level SSL certificate store is used. Requests return a standard reponse object that captures the http status line, headers and body, along with other useful information. Support for OAuth 1.0 and 2.0 with oauth1.0_token() and oauth2.0_token(). The demo directory has eight OAuth demos: four for 1.0 (twitter, vimeo, withings and yahoo) and four for 2.0 (facebook, github, google, linkedin). OAuth credentials are automatically cached within a project. -
