    Go Safe Web

    Go Safe Web

    Secure-by-default HTTP servers in Go

go-safeweb is a security-focused HTTP framework for Go that bakes in secure defaults so common web vulnerabilities are harder to introduce. Instead of leaving headers and policies to ad-hoc middleware, it sets Content Security Policy, X-Frame-Options, and other protections by default, and centralizes template escaping rules. Request handling emphasizes principled APIs for parsing and validating input, reducing the risk of injection and deserialization bugs. The framework’s routing and response layers are designed to be explicit and auditable, making it clearer when unsafe behaviors are being opted into. It also offers utilities for CSRF protection, secure cookies, and safe resource embedding that work well with Go’s standard library. By turning security posture into a first-class concern, go-safeweb helps teams achieve defense-in-depth without scattering security logic across a codebase.

    GraphQL HTTP Server Middleware

    GraphQL HTTP Server Middleware

Create a GraphQL HTTP server with Express

Create a GraphQL HTTP server with any HTTP web framework that supports connect styled middleware, including Connect itself, Express and Restify. This module includes a TypeScript declaration file to enable auto complete in compatible editors and type information for TypeScript projects. Use .get or .post (or both) rather than .use to configure your route handler. If you want to show GraphiQL in the browser, set graphiql, true on your .get handler. An optional function for adding additional metadata to the GraphQL response as a key-value object is provided. The result will be added to the "extensions" field in the resulting JSON. This is often a useful place to add development time metadata such as the runtime of a query or the amount of resources consumed. This may be an async function. The function is given one object as an argument: { document, variables, operationName, result, context }.

    Gzip Handler

    Gzip Handler

Go middleware to gzip HTTP responses

This is a tiny Go package that wraps HTTP handlers to transparently gzip the response body, for clients which support it. Although it's usually simpler to leave that to a reverse proxy (like nginx or Varnish), this package is useful when that's undesirable. Call GzipHandler with any handler (an object which implements the http.Handler interface), and it'll return a new handler which gzips the response.

    HTTP

    HTTP

    Rust HTTP types

This crate is a general purpose library for common types found when working with the HTTP protocol. You’ll find Request and Response types for working as either a client or a server as well as all of their components. Notably you’ll find Uri for what a Request is requesting, a Method for how it’s being requested, a StatusCode for what sort of response came back, a Version for how this was communicated, and HeaderName/HeaderValue definitions to get grouped in a HeaderMap to work with request/response headers. You will notably not find an implementation of sending requests or spinning up a server in this crate. It’s intended that this crate is the “standard library” for HTTP clients and servers without dictating any particular implementation. Note that this crate is still early on in its lifecycle so the support libraries that integrate with the http crate are a work in progress! Stay tuned and we’ll be sure to highlight crates here in the future.
