An image processing library for Node written entirely in JavaScript, with zero native dependencies. If you're using this library with TypeScript the method of importing slightly differs from JavaScript. Instead of using require, you must import it with ES6 default import scheme. If you're using a web bundles (webpack, rollup, parcel) you can benefit from using the module build of jimp. Using the module build will allow your bundler to understand your code better and exclude things you aren't using. If you're using webpack you can set process.browser to true and your build of jimp will exclude certain parts, making it load faster. The static Jimp.read method takes the path to a file, URL, dimensions, a Jimp instance or a buffer and returns a Promise. In some cases, you need to pass additional parameters with an image's URL. -

SuperAgent is light-weight progressive ajax API crafted for flexibility, readability, and a low learning curve after being frustrated with many of the existing request APIs. It also works with Node.js! Small progressive client-side HTTP request library, and Node.js module with the same API, supporting many high-level HTTP client features. Browser-ready versions of this module are available via jsdelivr, unpkg, and also in the node_modules/superagent/dist folder in downloads of the superagent package. If you are using browserify, webpack, rollup, or another bundler, then you can follow the same usage as Node. SuperAgent is easily extended via plugins. The Node client supports making requests to Unix Domain Sockets. DELETE, HEAD, PATCH, POST, and PUT requests can also be used, simply change the method name. Absolute URLs can be used. In web browsers absolute URLs work only if the server implements CORS. -

Talking to APIs doesn't have to be awkward anymore. Low-fat wrapper for the amazing Axios HTTP client library. All responses follow the same flow: success and failure alike. Responses have a problem property to help guide exception flow, attach functions that get called each request, attach functions that change all request or response data. Detects connection issues (on React Native). The only required property is baseURL and it should be the starting point for your API. It can contain a sub-path and a port as well. The responses are promise-based, so you'll need to handle things in a .then() function. The promise is always resolved with a response object. Even if there was a problem with the request! A crazy fast HTTP router, internally uses a highly performant Radix Tree (aka compact Prefix Tree), supports route params, wildcards, and it's framework is independent. You can set a custom length for parameters in parametric (standard, regex and multi) routes by using maxParamLength option, the default value is 100 characters. If you are using a regex-based route, find-my-way will throw an error if detects potentially catastrophic exponential-time regular expressions (internally uses safe-regex2). According to RFC3986, find-my-way is case-sensitive by default. You can disable this by setting the caseSensitive option to false: in that case, all paths will be matched as lowercase, but the route parameters or wildcards will maintain their original letter casing. -

HTTP client, spiritual successor to request
Early in Node.js I wrote an HTTP client library called request. It evolved along with Node.js and eventually became very widely depended upon. A lot has changed since 2010 and I've decided to re-think what a simple HTTP client library should look like. This new library, r2, is a completely new approach from request. Rather than being built on top of the Node.js Core HTTP library and shimmed for the browser, r2 is built on top of the browser's Fetch API and shimmed for Node.js. APIs are meant to be used with async/await, which means they are based on promises. Being written to the Fetch API is a huge benefit for browser users. When running through browserify request is ~2M uncompressed and ~500K compressed. r2 is only 66K uncompressed and 16K compressed. -

The http service can be used globally Vue.http or in a Vue instance this.$http. A Vue instance provides the this.$http service which can send HTTP requests. A request method call returns a Promise that resolves to the response. Also the Vue instance will be automatically bound to this in all function callbacks. Shortcut methods are available for all request types. These methods work globally or in a Vue instance. The Recipes provide code examples to common use-cases.
