Arcan is a portable and fully scriptable frontend for launching games, emulators and other full-screen applications in a visual appealing way, as seamlessly as possible. The API is sufficiently complete for other projects as well, e.g. rapid game prototyping (both 2D and 3D). Note that we have left sourceforge (thanks for all the spam). A set of tools/code to facilitate communicating to the Hava and Vulkano network streaming video devices (http://myhava.com and http://myvulkano.com). Long term goal to create MythTV hooks (Linux) but some bits are useful elsewhere. Hope to utilize any official Vulkano SDK for Linux one is ever released. Note my Hava died in May 2013 so there will likely be no more updates for Hava devices. I bought a Vulkano to replace it and hope to have similar functionality for it soon.

XMLTV grabber to access the Australian Community-driven TV Guide based at www.oztivo.net. The grabber is optimised for smooth operation with MythTV, however it produces XMLTV compliant output for use by any application. This grabber is designed to optimally implement HTTP caching to minimise network traffic and loading on the oztivo servers. A side benefit is that it is extremely fast to perform updates. It has been my personal grabber for many years of flawless operation.
