A Task / Test of Working Memory for Cognitive / Neurosciece Research
To perform automated digit span tests to evaluate on working memory function, especially in cognitive / neuro research. Hope to reduce practice effects and eliminate the need to use clinical assessments in research settings. Requires Java 7 or newer. Note that this is a research tool, and was not intended (and not evaluated) for clinical assessment. FINAL VERSION: If you want more features, download the source and hack it yourself. Apologies to those who've asked for help and got no response -- I lost my password, and wasn't able to log in for years. THIS IS AN OLD PROJECT, started for practice, and can be buggy on some systems; the code is messy and the design may be simplistic in ways.
Safe, open source brain stimulation for everyone!
OpenStim is a set of open-source hardware and software designed to administer transcranial direct current stimulation for less than $50. IMPORTANT NOTICE Recently, an error was discovered in the documentation page describing the commands for setting the stimulation polairty. The documentation originally indicated that setting operating_power to a positive number would set the output from W6 as the anode. This is not correct for the most recent version of OpenStim and has been corrected. Note that the correct cofngiuration is: If operating power is set to a positive number the output from the digital potentiometer (W6) should be the cathode If operating_power is set to a negative number, W6 should be the anode

Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents
For the purpose of policy simulation in coupled social-ecological systems (e.g. energy supply), a credible modelling of actors – especially citizens – and their decision processes is needed. This requires a framework capable of handling high numbers of heterogeneous agents (several hundreds of thousands). LARA (Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents) meets these requirements and fills the gap between frameworks without built-in psychological foundations and full-fledged cognitive architectures which are both not viable options in this context. LARA provides prefabricated components of an agent’s decision process like perception, memory, and different modes of decision making. These components are psychologically plausible, i.e. based on appropriate psychological results and theories. Moreover, interfaces for basic learning and social influence are available.

The Open Source management tool for museums
QueLang is a designing tool to use for Questionnaire Design.
This is the first implementation of QueLang. QueLang is a language I designed for Questionnaire Design and Implementation. This software can compile your code (written in .ql text files) into a special .qlc format (a kind of database). Then it can read those .qlc files to open them in viewer and export them to PDF format. It can be also used for exam and test designing! Tested on: -Linux Ubuntu 12.04 -Windows 7 64-bit QueLang can run by double clicking the .jar (or .exe) file. NOW INSTALLATION (or compilation) IS NEEDED! QueLang Survey Manager can concentrate Results of answered Questionnaires in a single database for mass statistical processing. Includes: -full documentation -GUI Interface -CLI Interface -Survey Manager TODO: - Write a decent parser (I have to study for that) - Add some more macros - Answer images (instead of text only) -You can always tell me what you want me implement, and I will include it (if possible) in the next update!
