Fresh Memory is an education application for studying languages with Spaced Repetition method and flashcards. Its primary purpose is to study and repeat vocabulary of foreign languages. But other disciplines can be studied as well: history, geography, medicine, mathematics. The study material is stored as collections of flashcards. The flashcards may have several fields, and the user controls what combination of fields to learn. The flash cards can have formatted text and images. The look of flashcards and studying parameters are can be flexibly configured.
Generates random fake names
Program generates as many fake names as you want in lots of different languages. Works in Linux, *BSD & Windows. Version 2.0x saves the names to a file called filenames.txt , which you can load into a text editor. Currently v2.0x is the Latest Version.

A binary waveform synthesizer based on Timewave Zero
A binary waveform synthesizer derived from and based upon Timewave Zero theory by Terence McKenna. His theory proposes that the structure of time is a complex wave with a scalar potential, and the King Wen sequence of the I Ching is the 64 hexagram code from which the waveform of time is derived; that the King Wen sequence maps the linear progression of the human states of mind, which ultimately substantiates this waveform. This theory is the basis for the well-known novelty computer program he and others had developed. This program synth was made in supercollider.

a light OPDS/HTML server indexing EPUB and PDF files
elibsrv is a light, standalone OPDS server for Linux. It allows to generate an OPDS repository of EPUB and/or PDF files scanned from on-disk directories. It also provides a simple html interface for non-OPDS humans, which makes it a good fit for both OPDS-aware devices (like Android with FBReader or Aldiko) and browsers with EPUB/PDF capabilities (for ex. Firefox with the excellent EPUBReader plugin). It's worth noting that elibsrv is a complete solution - ie. it doesn't rely on third party software (most similar solutions are designed to work with Calibre...). Requires only PHP with sqlite. C library for Hebrew dates / times of day / solar times
libhdate is a C library for Hebrew calendar information, including dates, holidays, and times of day. The package includes: hcal and hdate, command line programs for the Hebrew calendar, dates and times of day information. Also included are library bindings to other programming languages (C++, pascal, python, perl, ruby, php). The api is also of general use for calculating solar times anywhere on Earth for any astronomical date (julian day number).

SES brings back the uncrackable onetime pad, with a digital twist. It is well known that a random key of message-length is the only provably unbreakable cipher. SES uses cryptographic strength pseudo-random keys of message-length for its many encipherments, in addition to offering true one-time pad capability for the intrepid. SES is built on ISAAC, Bob Jenkins' unbroken CSPRNG, a fast and simple stream cipher placed in the Public Domain in 1996. SES now gives you the ability to efficiently cipher text of arbitrary length or files of any size or type. Use it with confidence. To achieve complete one-on-one privacy, SES traverses several levels en route to its output. The more words in your key-phrase, the more layers of encipherment SES applies. It is part Vigenere, part onetime pad, part cryptographic hash, not to mention the essential scrambler element, each component driven by ISAAC, with all key-derivation and stretching relying on Keccak in 512-bit configuration.
C++ libraries for manipulations in non-Euclidean geometry
The project contains two C++ libraries for symbolic, numeric and graphical manipulations in non-Euclidean geometry. The first library Cycle implements basic operations on cycles (quadrics) through SFSCc construction. The second library Figure operates on ensembles of cycles connected by Moebius-invariant relations, e.g. orthogonality. Both libraries are based on the Clifford algebra capacities of the GiNaC computer algebra system (http://ginac.de). Besides C++ libraries there is a Python wrapper, which can be used in interactive mode. The core of both libraries is done for an arbitrary dimension and arbitrary signature of the space metric. Additionally, there are some 2D/3D-specific routines including a visualisation to PostScript files through Asymptote (http://asymptote.sourcefourge.net) software. The source code is written in literate programming environment NoWeb (http://www.cs.tufts.edu/~nr/noweb/).
