C++ libraries for manipulations in non-Euclidean geometry
The project contains two C++ libraries for symbolic, numeric and graphical manipulations in non-Euclidean geometry. The first library Cycle implements basic operations on cycles (quadrics) through SFSCc construction. The second library Figure operates on ensembles of cycles connected by Moebius-invariant relations, e.g. orthogonality. Both libraries are based on the Clifford algebra capacities of the GiNaC computer algebra system (http://ginac.de). Besides C++ libraries there is a Python wrapper, which can be used in interactive mode. The core of both libraries is done for an arbitrary dimension and arbitrary signature of the space metric. Additionally, there are some 2D/3D-specific routines including a visualisation to PostScript files through Asymptote (http://asymptote.sourcefourge.net) software. The source code is written in literate programming environment NoWeb (http://www.cs.tufts.edu/~nr/noweb/).
Dynamic Bayesian Network Library
DBNL is a cross-platform library that offers a variety of implementations of Bayesian networks and machine learning algorithms. It is a flexible library that covers all aspects of Bayesian netwoks from representation to reasoning and learning. It allows you to create simple static networks as well as complex temporal models with changing structure. It can handle highly non-linear dependencies between multivariate random variables. The particle based inference can answer arbitrary questions given the provided evidence and can even cope with multimodal densities. The library supports the most common types of densities and conditional densities, like uniform or normal densities and facilitates user defined density functions. To enable easy use the library is taking account of modern development techniques like policy based design and template programming. All these properties make it applicaple for a wide range of applications.

Comparative analysis of open source in silico fragmentation tools
We compared the performance of four publicly available in silico fragmentation tools that help in structure elucidation of metabolites (MetFrag, CFM-ID, MAGMa+ and MS-FINDER). Using the output of these tools we developed a voting/consensus model which is combining, re-ordering and re-ranking the candidates file and increases the correct hit percentage. We used 520 compounds from the 2016 CASMI challenge with 312 compounds for training and 208 compounds for validation purposes.
