Jmol/JSmol is a molecular viewer for 3D chemical structures that runs in four independent modes: an HTML5-only web application utilizing jQuery, a Java applet, a stand-alone Java program (Jmol.jar), and a "headless" server-side component (JmolData.jar). Jmol can read many file types, including PDB, CIF, SDF, MOL, PyMOL PSE files, and Spartan files, as well as output from Gaussian, GAMESS, MOPAC, VASP, CRYSTAL, CASTEP, QuantumEspresso, VMD, and many other quantum chemistry programs. Files can be transferred directly from several databases, including RCSB, EDS, NCI, PubChem, and MaterialsProject. Multiple files can be loaded and compared. A rich scripting language and a well-developed web API allow easy customization of the user interface. Features include interactive animation and linear morphing. Jmol interfaces well with JSpecView for spectroscopy, JSME for 2D->3D conversion, POV-Ray for images, and CAD programs for 3D printing (VRML export).

Prepare bingo cards game for any educational purpose.
The idea is simple. Instead of solving exercises in serial form in the classroom, it is better to wrap the solving exercises experience with a game similar to Bingo. The students will love it and the teacher will have a very nice time! This extension provides Calc with a tool able to create Bingo Cards and the corresponding interactive document to play the game in the classroom. The teacher type in the Bingo sheet the questions and the corresponding answers and he/she gets the cards in the Bingo Cards sheet. A printer is required to print the BINGO cards and a scissor to cut them apart while the classroom should be equipped with a projector and a computer running OpenOffice or LibreOffice. Download BingoCards-3.1.4.zip and unzip in your computer. Please install the APPROPRIATE .oxt for your system, the other versions will NOT work! Some representative examples are included. Growing suite of proteomics simulations for educational purposes
JBioFramework (JBF) is a set of two different chemical separations simulations (2D Electrophoresis and Mass Spectrometry) that are frequently used in chemistry, biochemistry and proteomics research. It is written in the Java programming language and will run on any and all systems that have the JVM installed. As we continue to develop the software over the coming months/years and attempt to quantify the success of our efforts with testing and reviews, user input is very important. Our next scheduled release will contain (in addition to 2DE and MassSpec) a 1D Electrophoresis simulation as well as a tab containing ChemAxon's MarvinSketch [http://www.chemaxon.com/products/marvin/] along with some improved functionality. Toss is a program which allows to explore the use of logic and terms in various models. On the static side, you can draw graphs and check their properties, axioms and reductions. Then, on the dynamic side, you can model multi-player games with both discrete and continuous dynamics. You can play the games, generate strategies automatically and analyse possible behaviours with respect to various logic formulas.

This Project will administer an exam on an applet using 4 answer mutliple choice questions. Only one answer may be selected per question. Later we may improve this but for now this is the scope. We will use XML to read and write exams.
This will be a simple tandem text editor. It will broad cast document events to clients over a web connection. What it should do is allow more than one person to edit a document at the same time. Of course the one editing has a lock.
Enumerate every point on a line
Here is a nice little class we can use to enumerate each and every point on a line. We are using the Digital Differential Analyzer (DDA) approach. The idea of drawing a simple line is well supported by just about every graphical framework. What is less sure is the ability to enumerate through a set of points so as to choose just which points we are interested in. LineDDA also graphically demonstrates support for Positive Slope, Negative Slope, Zero and No Slope. Source code included in archive / jar.

Syllog is a system for teaching logic, with anonymous answer logging
Syllog is a system for teaching various forms of logic, including syllogistic logic. It consists of a student-facing Java Applet that runs in the student's browser, and a teacher-facing, server-based logging facility for recording the answers given by students. The student-facing part simply poses questions, to which the student must provide an answer. The teacher-oriented logging facility then logs the answers anonymously for further investigation by the teacher.
