This is a Raspbain Strech base image with Home-Assistant on it. i used Virtual Env based installation and added some Custom Ui and Custom Components. i have also configured MySQL server and database and also some scripts, sensors and groups to help users start working with the system.

Jarvis is a Home Assistant (https://home-assistant.io/) implementation with wake word detection, SMS commands, and a lot of automation control. While the Conversation component does it's job, it's currently a bit limited and without wake word detection it was almost useless to me. I also have tried the AlexaPi implementation as well as using Amazon Alexa products. However, creating custom intents was not as straight forward as I would have liked for quick and easy creation. Between wake word and API.AI for speech handling, it appears to work rather well.

...This was born as many others from my need to turn on/off a computer in another room or see what is up before going to bed or be alerted by some intrusion in my local net via wi-fi. It needs a lot of improvements and I hope the community can help. New hosts are discovered via /etc/hosts and nmap but can be added manually too.
