The proposed filter-based algorithm uses a bank of Gabor filters to capture both local and global details in a fingerprint as a compact fixed length FingerCode. The fingerprint matching is based on the Euclidean distance between the two corresponding FingerCodes and hence is extremely fast. We are able to achieve a verification accuracy which is only marginally inferior to the best results of minutiae-based algorithms published in the open literature. Our system performs better than a state-of-the-art minutiae-based system when the performance requirement of the application system does not demand a very low false acceptance rate. Finally, we show that the matching performance can be improved by combining the decisions of the matchers based on complementary (minutiae-based and filter-based) fingerprint information. Meteorologists use the FPA to create a series of weather charts, known as depictions, that show weather fields over a sequence of times. The weather fields can contain grid point data or sets of areas, lines or scattered points. The weather depictions are not just graphical displays, but windows into an object database. By connecting processes to the database, forecast offices can automatically generate forecast products or run local models, while spending more of their time on weather analysis, diagnosis and prognosis.

General purpose application to control the four channel WiFi enabled ESP-01 based relay units with optional timer function. Once connected to a WiFi relay unit based on the ESP-01 controller you can individually switch on and off the relays as well as create a sequence of timer controlled actions (current maximum: 12). The timer increments every 50 milliseconds, however please note this not 100% accurate, on tests it was averaging 62 milliseconds on my laptop. New feature added to generate a single pulse on any of the outputs with a configurable on/off period.
