    Pandoc

    Pandoc

    The universal markup converter

...It can convert to and from just about anything-- lightweight markup formats, HTML formats, documentation formats, ebooks, TeX formats, word processor formats and so much more. It understands several useful markdown syntax extensions, such as document metadata, footnotes, tables, and more. If you want strict markdown compatibility however, these extensions can be turned off. Pandoc is no doubt powerful and customizable, but it is important to note that its intermediate representation of a document is less expressive than many of the formats, so it may not produce perfect conversions every time.

    Summoner

    Summoner

Tool for scaffolding batteries-included production-level Haskell

Summoner is a tool for scaffolding fully configured batteries-included production-level Haskell projects. Do you want to create a library that is to be uploaded to Hackage/Stackage, that builds with both Cabal and Stack and supports the latest three major GHC versions? Or are you building a production application that uses a custom prelude and has CI with GitHub Actions or Travis Linux and AppVeyors Windows checks? Maybe do you want to play with your idea in a single module without introducing the whole complexity of the Haskell projects. ...

    LiquidHaskell

    LiquidHaskell

    Liquid Types For Haskell

This is the development site of the LiquidHaskell formal verification tool. If you're a LiquidHaskell user (or just curious), you probably want to go to the documentation website instead. LiquidHaskell (LH) refines Haskell's types with logical predicates that let you enforce important properties at compile time. LH warns you that head is not total as it is missing the case for [] and checks that it is total on NonEmpty lists. The input contract propagates to uses of head which are verified by ensuring the arguments are NonEmpty. ...

    dhall-haskell

    dhall-haskell

    Maintainable configuration files

...You can then click the "Help" button in the bottom right corner, which will show you a nix-env command that you can run to install the prebuilt executable. You will probably want to use the shared caches hosted at cache.dhall-lang.org and dhall.cachix.org when doing Nix development. This is not required, but this will save you a lot of time so that you don't have to build as many dependencies from scratch the first time. If you prefer installing the binaries locally in a nix shell environment instead, just run nix-shell in the top-level directory. ...

    ImplicitCAD

    ImplicitCAD

A math-inspired CAD program in haskell. CSG, bevels, and shells

...With the explosion of 3D printing, designing 3D objects has become an even more important problem. And it's a complicated one. We need to design complicated objects that precisely interface with each other. And often we don't want to just design a single object, but classes of objects, parameterized by variables. And we need to do this in collaboration. Generally, objects in programmatic CAD are built with Constructive Solid Geometry or CSG. Unions, intersections and differences of simpler shapes slowly build the object. ImplicitCAD supports all this and much more! ...

    Obelisk

    Obelisk

Functional reactive web and mobile applications, with batteries

Functional reactive web and mobile applications, with batteries included. Obelisk's goal is to represent a cohesive, highly-curated set of choices that Obsidian Systems has made for building these types of applications in a way that is extremely fast but does not compromise on production readiness. Obelisk allows you to build high-quality web and mobile applications very quickly using Reflex. In minutes you can go from an empty directory to an interactive application that works on web, iOS,...

    GHCid

    GHCid

Very low feature GHCi based IDE

...In general, to use ghcid, you first need to get ghci working well for you. In particular, craft a command line or .ghci file such that when you start ghci it has loaded all the files you care about (check :show modules). If you want to use --test check that whatever expression you want to use works in that ghci session. Getting ghci started properly is one of the hardest things of using ghcid, and while ghcid has a lot of defaults for common cases, it doesn't always work out of the box. Expressions that read from standard input are likely to hang, given that Ghcid already uses the standard input to interact with Ghci.

    relude

    relude

Safe, performant, user-friendly and lightweight Haskell library

relude is a safe, performant, user-friendly and lightweight Haskell standard library. The default Prelude is not perfect and doesn’t always satisfy one’s needs. At this stage, you may want to try an alternative prelude library. relude has some strong goals and principles that it sticks to. That principles define the library's decisions and might tell you more about the priorities of the library. You can be more productive with a “non-standard” standard library, and relude helps you with writing safer and more efficient code faster. ...

    Rome

    Rome

Carthage cache for S3, Minio, Ceph, Google Storage, Artifactory, etc.

...Rome is a tool that allows developers on Apple platforms to use Amazon's S3, Minio, Ceph, other S3-compatible object stores or/and a local folder. The Rome binary is also attached as a zip to each release on the releases page here on GitHub. Suppose you're working a number of frameworks for your project and want to share those with your team. A great way to do so is to use Carthage and have team members point the Cartfile to the new framework version (or branch, tag, commit) and run Carthage update. Unfortunately, this will require them to build from scratch a new framework. This is particularly annoying if the dependency tree for that framework is big and/or takes a long time to build. ...

    Taskell

    Taskell

Command-line Kanban board/task manager with support for Trello boards

...If you’re using a simple two-column “To Do” and “Done” then use the space bar to mark an item as complete while staying in the “To Do” list. If you’re using a more complicated column setup then you will want to use H/L to move tasks between columns. By default times are stored in the Markdown file as UTC. If you would like local times (and are unlikely to open the file in lots of different timezones) then you can set localTimes to true in the markdown section of the config file.

    The Fission CL

    The Fission CL

    Command-line interface for Fission

The Fission CLI is now part of the main fission-suite/fission repo. We construct identity, data, and compute solutions for the future of the Internet. Users want data ownership and privacy without compromising on a seamless experience. You want to build a resilient application that is fast, cost-effective, and efficient. We build local-first and edge computing tools that make all of this possible. Fission builds open source protocols and managed solutions that empower developers to construct humane software applications.

    Semantic

    Semantic

Parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code across many languages

...This is the format that github.com uses to generate code navigation information allowing c-tags style lookup of symbolic names for fast, incremental navigation in all the supported languages. The incremental part is important because files change often so we want to be able to parse just what's changed and not have to analyze the entire project again.

    Haxl

    Haxl

Haskell library that simplifies access to remote data

...Having all this handled for you behind the scenes means that your data-fetching code can be much cleaner and clearer than it would otherwise be if it had to worry about optimizing data-fetching. To use Haxl in your own application, you will likely need to build one or more data sources: the thin layer between Haxl and the data that you want to fetch, be it a database, a web API, a cloud service, or whatever. There is a generic datasource in "Haxl.DataSource.ConcurrentIO" that can be used for performing arbitrary IO operations concurrently, given a bit of boilerplate to define the IO operations you want to perform.

    hAthena

    Game emulator written in Haskell.

... - Strict typesystem You can't send the wrong information to a function, and you can not possibly use it in a way not intended - No side-effects A function can't do anything else then what you want it to do. You provide a value, it returns a value. No fishy business. Read the Readme.txt for more information on how to compile.
