This project is based on the sourceforge project tn5250j. The intention of this tn5250jEngine project was to capsulate a slim core modul interpreting the Telnet 5250 stream. This core module provides a 5250-ScreenGrid Interface for any GUI application.

The program ttylog is a serial port logger which can be used to print everything that comes in to a serial device to stdout. The device and the baud rate can be specified on the command line and a timeout can be set instead of just killing the process in order to stop it. It just fails on some applications or keys. And its not that powerful. HIDintercept is somewhat different. Because it uses a driver [http://oblita.com/interception.html] it is able to reliable detect, block and process keystrokes from different keyboards. You can activate triggers based on started programs and which program you are currently working at. And it won't leak the original key strokes, like HIDmacro did on apps using DXInput. With plugins extendable, so just write your own trigger or condition or fancy HUD. Oh, and don't forget to read the manual. May help a little bit. According to a review, you'll need VC 2013 runtime installed.
