This is an independent project focusing on the development of drivers which allow the ActiveWire board (sold by ActiveWire, Inc.) to be used on OS X. ActiveWire, Inc. never updated the drivers from their OS 9 version, thus this project began.

AIC (Advanced Irrigation Controller) is a computer based control system that has been initially targeted towards controlling irrigation in small to medium size gardens. As the product matures and features are added it is expected to be a fully functional controller used in large scale implementations, green houses and glass houses. AIC platform's in-dependency means it can run on both Linux or Windows XP onwards . A large range of serial boards (as well as usb boards that present as serial devices) are able to be controlled. KMTronic's USB and Serial relay boards are selectable in the configuration menu, other boards can be setup by entering their control commands. Although primarily designed for irrigation you can use AIC to control a large variety of hardware, for example lighting, heating etc It is envisaged that future implementations of AIC will incorporate rules for more complex device control.

These MATALB and Verilog models can allow software programmer as well as hardware designers to evaluate their code and design. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first open-source library of approximate adders that facilitates reproducible comparisons and further research and development in this direction across various layers of design abstraction. This work is a result of collaborative effort between Chair for Embedded Systems (CES) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and Vision Image and Signal Processing (VISpro) Lab at SEECS-NUST, Pakistan.

We live in very exciting times 😃! BLDC motors are entering the hobby community more and more and many great projects have already emerged leveraging their far superior dynamics and power capabilities. BLDC motors have numerous advantages over regular DC motors but they have one big disadvantage, the complexity of control. Even though it has become relatively easy to design and manufacture PCBs and create our own hardware solutions for driving BLDC motors the proper low-cost solutions are yet to come. One of the reasons for this is the apparent complexity of writing the BLDC driving algorithms, Field oriented control (FOC) being an example of one of the most efficient ones. The solutions that can be found online are almost exclusively very specific for certain hardware configurations and the microcontroller architecture used. Additionally, most of the efforts at this moment are still channeled towards the high-power applications of the BLDC motors and proper low-cost FOC.

This Arduino library is a native Apple HomeKit accessory implementation for the ESP8266 Arduino core and works without any additional bridges. This project is mainly based on an esp-home kit for ESP-OPEN-RTOS. I ported the RTOS-based implementation of the esp-home kit to the pure Arduino environment, aimed at easy and fast building projects using Arduino IDE (or Eclipse with sloeber, PlatformIO). Enjoy the "one-key" build, "one-key" upload, and work to link various other Arduino libraries with Apple HomeKit! This library is built with ESP8266 Arduino Core 2.6.3. Lower versions may compile with errors. For ESP32, see Arduino-HomeKit-ESP32. The HomeKit running on ESP32 has a GREAT PERFORMANCE which is 10x faster than ESP8266. You should set the ESP8266 CPU to run at 160MHz (at least during the pairing process), to avoid the tcp-socket disconnection from the iOS device caused by a timeout.
