This is a simple CPU burn program for the major UNIX systems: AIX, BSD, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris etc (full list in the source file #defines) and Windows. It will discover the number of available CPU cores and fork enough threads to create a load on all cores by default. The number of threads and memory block size can be changed from the command line.

Simple OS X app for viewing PCI hardware info
DPCIManager lists all of the PCI devices attached to your machine, along with their PCI IDs, vendor name, and device name. It will also retrieve the kext loaded for that device, important when troubleshooting. The new status tab gathers all of the most important info about your system into one place. ACPI table extraction makes it easy to edit your DSDT or other tables easily. Now includes ROM flashing. -

Update [September 7th, 2014]: As of VMware Fusion 7.0.0, VMware Tools for Mac (darwin.iso) - VMwareGfx.kext has all the features of VMsvga2 and is maintained by VMware. It is recommended to transition to VMwareGfx.kext, as VMsvga2 is no longer under development. Additionally, guestd_patches do not work with darwin.iso from Fusion 7.0.0 - the patch causes vmware-tools-daemon to crash. -
