...The memory footprint is small and the CPU utilization is also very low (~ 0%), you can verify this by opening your Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc). This is originally mainly for my personal use since newer notebooks does not have HDD LED light so I quickly write a replacement using Visual Studio C++ 2010. Some of the existing HDD indicators constantly consume ~2% of CPU. Also most of them can't show individual actitivity for each physical HDD.
