pam-pkinit enables to get kerberos 5 credential using PKINIT in PAM session module. pam_pkinit was initialy built to provide seamless access to kerberized sites using GSI-SSH and PKINIT (Heimdal). It could be used in similar situations too.

Original Leica GSI Online documentation can be downloaded on the Leica Geosystems website: http://www.leica-geosystems.com/ Note that this original documentation (revision May 2008) is incomplete and many GSI codes for different instruments are missing.
