grafx - Extensible Java Graphics Package

Extensible Line-drawing & Polygon-filling Rasterization Libs for Java

...Suitable for study in academic institutions, especially as related to line-drawing accuracy. Particular attention to detail concerning chopping of accumulation errors, using a cast from 64 bit to 32 bit strategy, in the interval [1.0,2.0). Individual pixel errors with overlapping polygons or line segments are about one in a billion, but I can't reproduce any errors at the moment by using random number generation with tens of millions of cases. Emphasis not only on correctness, but also on performance for real-world use or hardware implementation.

    ReViMS

    ReViMS

ReViMS, a 3D volume rendering tool for light-sheet/confocal microscopy

Reconstruction and Visualization from Multiple Sections (ReViMS), an open-source, user-friendly software for automatically estimating volume and several other features of 3D multicellular aggregates (i.e., cancer spheroid, zebrafish, fruit fly). ReViMS requires a z-stack of 2D binary masks, obtained by segmenting a sequence of fluorescent images acquired by scanning the aggregate along the z axis, using a confocal or a light-sheet fluorescent microscope. It provides a number of tools for: (a) segmenting z-stacks of fluorescence images; (b) reconstructing the 3D surface of the aggregates and estimating several features (including the volume). ReViMS is written in MATLAB (The MathWorks, Inc., Massachusetts, USA). It is an open-source tool and the source code is freely available at: http://sourceforge.net/p/revims Requirements: MATLAB R2017b and Image Processing Toolbox 10.1 or later versions.

    Vue Starport

    Vue Starport

Shared component across routes with animations

...Traditional transitions between routes in Vue often destroy and recreate components, losing state. Starport solves this by hoisting the component to a root level container (<StarportCarrier>), using a proxy at the source and destination positions, and then using Teleport to land the component in its new place. It uses the FLIP (First, Last, Invert, Play) technique: it captures initial position & size, moves the component in a floating state, then lands it into the new layout. This gives a smooth “fly from one page to another” animation effect for components that appear across routes (e.g., a card in list view flying into detail view). ...
