This project is focused on building a Java-based demo builder that may be used to demo products, tutorials or any slide-ware with video/audio annotations like ViewletBuilder, RoboDemo, etc.

Read, parse, render and run Cryptic Studios Inc. .demo files with ease.

The main objective of the proposed software solution is to improve the performance in dental diagnosis using infrared lock-in thermography and complex image processing algorithms for the determination of defective zones of teeth. The recorded amplitude profile of the thermal wave shows a maximum corresponding to a heat accumulation in the region where the open micro-gap is found, whereas a minimum in the phase profile is detected. These maxima/minima are convenient indicators that allow to locate surface breaking defects on teeth. For the purpose of emphasizing very small temperature variations surrounding the thin flaws, different image processing algorithms were developed and included within the DCD software solution. This package contains two small tools for handling digital photographs: kamd and fotocp. The former is used to import images from digital cameras, while the latter is to select images to copy them or burn them on CD, for example to make hardcopies. The main goal are ease of use and a slim and intuitive UI which can also be used by people with limited computer skills. An OpenGL 3D game, written from scratch (no dependencies). Provided as freeware mostly as a source of inspiration to help others. A little like a 3D version of the Amiga game Pang! The game is mostly intended for someone wanting to learn OpenGL. But since the game only uses OpenGL 1.0 the drawing code is outdated, but still things can be learned from the collision detection and other techniques. Some of the code is left in an unfinished/testing state. This game was a learning experiment for me, and the math used is tested until it works for the game. After using the science math by the book, there were still flaws that could make the player get stuck under certain conditions (since floating point is not exact), and the workarounds for this are just my own ideas. Have looked at the code for other 3D games and there are mostly the same problems around collision detection and "hacks" to get it to "work".
