It is based on five different audiovisual instruments made of chaotic and physical modeling algorithms that you can directly control. I have in mind a C RayTracing library, but, actually it is an application using opengl to show the texture (e.g. the raytraced result) generated by the library. This is a project to explore and make a Ray Tracer that can be really fast, optimized and with the more options we can. My hope is to make it fully and easily understandable in order to give to the developers all the hand in the process. -

A program and library for content-aware image resizing using seam carving. Seamstress is a portable library for seam carving. Arachne is a graphical application written to showcase the best features of Seamstress. Seam carving is a technique developed by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir for resizing images by removing the boring bits. The technique allows you to change the aspect ratio of an image without distorting the contents, and even remove unwanted subjects from images. -

It always frustrated me that almost NO image tool can handle RAW image files. That's why I built my own! It's nothing fancy, it takes files from the cmd-line and asks for the images' dimensions. I programmed it in less than 10 minutes :-p
