Filtered is a cross-platform tool for editing SVG filters. Filtered is written in Java and released under BSD license. It uses Apache Batik for SVG rendering. There are installers for windows and Mac OSX, and a Java JAR package for other platforms. Filtered is targeted for visual editing of SVG filters, and doesn't provide general vector drawing capabilities. It is meant to be used as a companion for a vector editing package, to allow better control over SVG filter creation and editing. Filtered can be used for creating all kinds of image filters, from simple drop shadows and glows to complex synthetic texture creation.

Form4j is a java package to handle interactive GUI Forms for Java (Swing) Clients. Data and Form Definitions are XML based. Primary Purpose: Forms for Java Clients in an XML Environment.

This project is the beginning of a big photo book conversion tool. Starting with ifolor (from switzerland) and output to scribus (which is a DTP application and can easily be used to create a pdf), I plan to also support other formats and support cross conversion, but for that I need YOUR INPUT (at least test files). Also other output formats are possible, but I didn't find a better format in the open source world than scribus yet. The project runs in a Java virtual machine. gnujpdf is a Java package (gnu.jpdf.*) for generating and printing PDF files. Formerly retepPDF by Peter Mount.

Line-drawing and polygon-filling rasterization algorithms in Java. Simple 2D package and more complex 3D package with Z-buffering. Texture mapping not supported at the moment. Color interpolation for lines, Gouraud shading for polygons fully supported. Floating point vertex coordinates, not integer. Pixel-level aliasing, not endpoint aliasing. Doesn't use Bresenham line style! Works with all Java versions. No external dependencies. Suitable for study in academic institutions, especially as related to line-drawing accuracy. Particular attention to detail concerning chopping of accumulation errors, using a cast from 64 bit to 32 bit strategy, in the interval [1.0,2.0). Individual pixel errors with overlapping polygons or line segments are about one in a billion, but I can't reproduce any errors at the moment by using random number generation with tens of millions of cases. Emphasis not only on correctness, but also on performance for real-world use or hardware implementation.
