Volocian believes first and foremost that financial status shouldn’t be a barrier to entry in multimedia content creation. Whether you want to design a product or website, record a band, remix a song, or produce a feature length movie with professional post production graphics and effects, Volocian™ wants to help, even if you’re using borrowed hardware with no previous experience. We provide affordable products and services for any budget, including cost-free solutions for education and demo purposes, while everything we do is designed with ease of use and flexibility in mind, to suit everyone from novice hobbyists to expert professionals. Wherever possible, Volocian™ relies on free, open source, and cross-platform software to prevent vendor lock-in, planned obsolescence, and software as a service licensing. While we remain pragmatic about the use of proprietary software, as we’re aware of the feature limitations of some open source solutions, free solutions are preferred.

Optical Mark recognition with MySQL database and PHP scripts
http://omr-ai.sourceforge.net/ described how to use MySQL and PHP for OMR. The PHP scripts were very much dependent on scanned page size and resolution. I have written the OMR page format and PHP scripts which are more flexible in nature. This script used horizontal and vertical guides to identify area to be analysed for MCQ answer checking and also identify and correct tilt. It is tailor made for A4 page size, but resolution can be varied with little impect on results. The answer page and scripts can be modified easily with little change in major functions of the library.
Create and edit SVG graphics directly in ownCloud. Based on svg-edit.
This project provides an ownCloud-app (http://apps.owncloud.com) for editing and creating SVG vector graphics in your browser. It's based on the awesome "svg-edit"-project (http://code.google.com/p/svg-edit/). Features like collaborative editing may be implemented later.
The birth of modern video feedback art.
Perceptron is a video feedback engine with a variety of extraordinary graphical effects. Perceptron is an endless flow of transforming visuals. Perceptron * recursively transforms images and video streams in realtime and produces a combination of Julia fractals, IFS fractals, and chaotic patterns due to video feedback * evolves geometric patterns into the realm of infinite details and deepens the thought * records animations (movies) * saves and opens presets (state files) * loads user photographs or captures screen and webcam input * has user interface based on multiple mouse cursors, and almost the entire keyboard * has multiple windows and fullscreen mode * takes complex geometric transforms as input * applies numerous coloring techniques * smoothly transforms fractals and creates endless psychedelic journeys * resonates with the human perception Visit the Perceptron home page at http://perceptron.sourceforge.net
A Digital Picture Frame Application written in Python
PyDPF - A Digital Picture Frame Application to be used as MPD client and/or standard DPF that is controlled via a LIRC device i.e. infrared based remote controller. As user interface for graphical output a Appotech AX206 DPF can be configured, hence this application is designed for embedded linux devices without standard monitor. A virtual QT based DPF e.g. for test purposes is available, too. PyDPF is running fine on my RasperryPi. Please look at AudiculaPi project (https://sourceforge.net/projects/audiculapi).

Source code adaptation of the egregore performance by chdh
This is an adaptation of the software used by chdh for the performance egregore in 2011-2013. It is based on five different audiovisual instruments made of chaotic and physical modeling algorithms that you can directly control. They have been remotely controlled live by chdh the 27th may 2015. You can play, adapt, and use this audiovisual instrument for yourself. It is based on physical modeling and chaotic algorithms entirely build in the Pure Data software.

Fileaxy does file de-duplication, organization, and bulk previewing
Fileaxy is a file de-duplication, organization, and bulk previewing tool which utilizes a new user interface for local file management. Using content hashing or machine vision algorithms, Fileaxy can detect identical files as well as similar images, videos, or fonts and correlate those to others based on naming conventions. Optionally integrates with ImageMagick, GraphicsMagick, FFmpeg, and Libav file decoding with a simple button click. Fileaxy opens NO network connections and will NOT request passwords. Runs on Java 8 platforms of Mac, Windows, and Linux. My goal is to have Fileaxy manage 1 million file objects live in the UI without JNI. SadOS is a Linux distribution for artsy hackers
SadOS is inspired by the fictional Linux distribution used by the webcomic character Don Depresso (http://dondepresso.rujic.net). *Why Use SadOS?* SadOS is basically a distribution for artsy hackers (and, of course, sad people). It’s packed with system utilities (making it highly useful as a USB stick or live DVD), security and penetration-testing tools for the curious, and some nontraditional choices in graphics/imaging tools. SadOS runs the lightweight Xfce4 for its desktop environment, so it will perform swiftly even on older hardware. *Other Info* SadOS 1.0 is based on Arch Linux, while SadOS 0.9 is based on Xubuntu 12.04 and Backtrack Linux 5. SadOS was originally sold on bootable USB sticks, which is why the README applies to running it from a USB stick. Most of the README is still relevant even if you are not booting SadOS from a USB stick. If you have questions about SadOS, please direct them to http://dondepresso.rujic.net/ask or firstname.lastname@example.org.

LaTeX Slope rulers to measure slope on topographic maps
These rulers have been designed using LaTeX and the PGFPlots package by Christian Feuersanger to measure slope on a 1:25,000 scale or 1:50,000 topographic map. Slope is determined by comparing the distance between contour lines of the map with the reference lines on the edges of the ruler. The top border of the ruler is designed to measure slope with a 20 meter contour interval. The bottom border measures slope with a 50 meter contour interval. You should print this ruler on white or transparent paper, taking care of deactivating any scaling options. Check the actual size of the ruler in centimeters on the right border. Emmanuel Vazquez

Open source first/third person shooter set in real world locations
This project aims to make an open source shooter (with first person and/or third person view) set in real world locations that will be greatly affected by climate change. The game uses the Enemy Territory: Legacy game engine (for NSCOET), but we also promote the AssaultCube Reloaded and Urho3D game engine as respectively secondary and tertiary game engines. Since the game engine can be considered as just another tool (it is basically an advanced map/level viewer, the game engine isn't the most important aspect of the platform, and game developers wanting to use our maps can decide themselves which of these engines they wish to use. The most important aspect of this platform is the community of game developers themselves, the help they provide between one another, and the tools (which allow converting of models, maps, .. in between game engines). For anyone wanting to contribute to the project: you can contact me via email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
