Tux Paint is a free, award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program. Kids are presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative. Along with paintbrush, shapes and text, Tux Paint includes a "stamp" feature to add pre-drawn or photographic imagery to pictures, and a set of "magic tools" that provide filter effects (like blur, tint and waves) and interesting drawing tools (like train tracks, bubbles and grass). Tux Paint includes a collection of "starter" images, both coloring-book style and photo-realistic, and a large collections of stamps are available as a separate download. Additional content can be added by parents and teachers, or downloaded from 3rd parties. Tux Paint is available for Linux, BSD, Windows, Mac OS X and Haiku operating systems.

Corrects modification date of images and organizes in folder structure
Corrects modification date file's attribute using original EXIF metadata "camera taken date" timestamp tag. Organizes photo files in folder structure (e.g. with dates in folder name) and changes their file's name using configurable template. Modification date file's attribute changes during write operation like rotation of images in Windows preview application. This might be anoying if you like to have your photos sorted. You can revert date of your images to original "camera taken date" timestamp working on original files or creating new ones in templated folder structure with templated new names. Just toss your photos straight from a memory card into the application, click a few times and photos end up on the forum.

The program allows you to create 3D pictures using one source image as well as two source images. In order to create a 3D image out of one picture, just check "Use single image" box. For creating 3D out of two images, take two shots of a still set object captured with a small horizontal shift (usually the distance must be about 2-3 inches to have the right scene). In both cases the images are inserted into the program and next second a 3D image is created in the location which you define on your PC. Please note that in order to watch the output 3D picture it is necessary to use stereo anaglyph glasses.
