Fileaxy does file de-duplication, organization, and bulk previewing
Fileaxy is a file de-duplication, organization, and bulk previewing tool which utilizes a new user interface for local file management. Using content hashing or machine vision algorithms, Fileaxy can detect identical files as well as similar images, videos, or fonts and correlate those to others based on naming conventions. Optionally integrates with ImageMagick, GraphicsMagick, FFmpeg, and Libav file decoding with a simple button click. Fileaxy opens NO network connections and will NOT request passwords. Runs on Java 8 platforms of Mac, Windows, and Linux. My goal is to have Fileaxy manage 1 million file objects live in the UI without JNI. Datsville Relicense Project
Datsville is a LEGO-inspired city started in 1999 by users of LUGNET using the LDraw suite of Lego CAD software. The goal of this project is to re-license models using a modern, open license, as well as to actively manage old and new model submissions. The birth of modern video feedback art.
Perceptron is a video feedback engine with a variety of extraordinary graphical effects. Perceptron is an endless flow of transforming visuals. Perceptron * recursively transforms images and video streams in realtime and produces a combination of Julia fractals, IFS fractals, and chaotic patterns due to video feedback * evolves geometric patterns into the realm of infinite details and deepens the thought * records animations (movies) * saves and opens presets (state files) * loads user photographs or captures screen and webcam input * has user interface based on multiple mouse cursors, and almost the entire keyboard * has multiple windows and fullscreen mode * takes complex geometric transforms as input * applies numerous coloring techniques * smoothly transforms fractals and creates endless psychedelic journeys * resonates with the human perception Visit the Perceptron home page at http://perceptron.sourceforge.net
Volocian believes first and foremost that financial status shouldn’t be a barrier to entry in multimedia content creation. Whether you want to design a product or website, record a band, remix a song, or produce a feature length movie with professional post production graphics and effects, Volocian™ wants to help, even if you’re using borrowed hardware with no previous experience. We provide affordable products and services for any budget, including cost-free solutions for education and demo purposes, while everything we do is designed with ease of use and flexibility in mind, to suit everyone from novice hobbyists to expert professionals. Wherever possible, Volocian™ relies on free, open source, and cross-platform software to prevent vendor lock-in, planned obsolescence, and software as a service licensing. While we remain pragmatic about the use of proprietary software, as we’re aware of the feature limitations of some open source solutions, free solutions are preferred.
Open source first/third person shooter set in real world locations
This project aims to make an open source shooter (with first person and/or third person view) set in real world locations that will be greatly affected by climate change. The game uses the Enemy Territory: Legacy game engine (for NSCOET), but we also promote the AssaultCube Reloaded and Urho3D game engine as respectively secondary and tertiary game engines. Since the game engine can be considered as just another tool (it is basically an advanced map/level viewer, the game engine isn't the most important aspect of the platform, and game developers wanting to use our maps can decide themselves which of these engines they wish to use. The most important aspect of this platform is the community of game developers themselves, the help they provide between one another, and the tools (which allow converting of models, maps, .. in between game engines). For anyone wanting to contribute to the project: you can contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
A tool that uses OpenCL to procedurally generate 3D models
The SuperShaper is an interactive tool to manipulate 3D meshes created from a "Trigonometry Formula" in real-time. The created mesh of up to a million vertices can be morphed interactively. The model is displayed in 3D, allowing customising the rendering. Export to 3DS and OBJ file formats is supported.
