Gimpel3D - 2D/3D Stereo Conversion Editor
The main download link is the installer for the compiled application. NOTE: The help files are accessible from within the application, from the main menu. The source code is bundled separately. Gimpel3D converts single images or frame sequences into stereoscopic 3D using a combination of traditional approaches and a proprietary projective modeling system. The user works in true proportional space where the scene can be viewed from any location. The scene is edited geometrically in space using tools specifically designed to work with the perspective projection of the image. This creates a virtual workspace that is intuitive for the user and proportionally accurate. NOTE: The entire codebase is currently in a single zip file (look under "Files"), and NOT in the sourceforge project repository..
Design and Display Happy Cube solutions
The Happy Cube Solver is an interactive environment based on OpenGL for designing and building cubes and other designs from the Happy Cube 3D puzzles. It integrates a graphic engine for creating and viewing designs and a powerful AI engine for solving them. Using this program automatically implies that you respect the copyrights on the Happy Cube©® Puzzles. This program is indented to support you while playing live with the Happy Cube©® Puzzles. These puzzles are worldwide manufacturered by HAPPY bvba, Belgium, on licensed and thus restricted base (www.happy.be). The Happy Cube puzzles are the result of a real invention in 1986 by Dirk Laureyssens. This means that using the puzzle snits as well as puzzle piece shapes to create or manufacture your own puzzles is illegal and against law, since the Happy Cube Puzzles are worldwide protected by many US copyrights since 1987.
Extract images contained in scans
Scanning albums is not an easy task, since the extraction of actual photographs within scans is usually very tedious. This tool allows you to scan as much as you can fit into your scanner and then semi-automatedly extract the contained photographs. The tool also allows to extract scans of multiple single photographs (i.e. without album) Find a full documentation here: http://dominik-ruess.de/scannerExtract/ Note: The scanning itself is the most time consuming part. Maker sure you optimize that process. (see some hints on the link above.) Hint: **I NEED YOUR DATA**. If you have scans which won't be recognized well give me these (If they're not too personal etc - I won't use it for anything else than to improve this software).
