3D Without Boundaries
VirtualGL redirects 3D commands from a Unix/Linux OpenGL application onto a server-side GPU and converts the rendered 3D images into a video stream with which remote clients can interact to view and control the 3D application in real time.
Open Source Solid Modeling CAD
BRL-CAD is a powerful cross-platform constructive solid geometry solid modeling system that includes an interactive geometry editor, ray-tracing for rendering & geometric analyses, network distributed framebuffer support, image & signal-processing tools.
Equalizer is the standard middleware to create parallel OpenGL-based applications. Please visit https://github.com/Eyescale for current development information.
Flying Cow is a three-dimensional user interface for quickly seeking an item. It provides an interface similar to that of iTunes Cover Flow.
An easy to use managed graphics engine. Utilises OpenGL, Direct3D9, and Xna through an abstraction layer. Accompanied by a number of other helpfull tools, for example to simplify input and networking.
Hard Coded Pinball started from a VPForum discussion about how to make the best playing video pinball possible.
Lamia or Lamia Engine is the modern generation free distributable and open source game engine for creating computer games for several prevailing software platforms and very maybe hardware platforms either.
A small, simple open-source rendering engine that uses OpenGL ES 2.0 - OpenGL 3.0> API, providing support for mobile and desktop platforms. Driven by the latest shader pipeline and GPU buffers, it supports fast next generation rendering techniques.
3D tool for visualizing and developing shaders
Shadow Grounds is a shader development environment focused on providing a dynamic 3D environment for quick and comprehensive testing /visualization of shaders. At present, the project uses the OpenSceneGraph rendering API, and is thus limited to GLSL shaders. Support for other rendering API's (and other shader languages) is planned. Interface is console-driven with eventual plans for a GUI.
Tech3D is an open source 3D rendering engine with using C/C++ language and SFML/OpenGL 3D API. It allow create and organise complex scene using pixel and vertex shaders, engine particules, and animation technologies.
Terram is a fast-paced racing game through a randomly generated winding tunnel against computer or human opponents. Currently in early development.
This is a powerful API which simplifies 3D game and other multimedia development. The project is still in the very early stages, much more will come soon.
The Wiiframe is a cross platform codebase that connects a Nintendo Wii remote to a 3D graphics window. This code is intended to be used as a base for other cross platform applications that take advantage of the Wii remote, such as games or design tools.
XEngine is a platform- and rendering-API-independent 3D engine for real-time visualization with support for programmable graphics pipeline architectures implemented in C++. Platforms: Windows, Linux. APIs: OpenGL 1.3+, Direct3D 8.1, Direct3D 9.0
Framework and set of object-oriented and/or generic libraries designed for games and virtual reality simulations. Abstracts interfaces of APIs and provides additional general and high-level functionality for rapidly creating solid applications.
The Zenipex Library is a game development framework, created with the goal of allowing someone with some knowledge of C++ to create 3D games for platforms including Windows, MacOS X, and Linux. OpenGL and Direct3D 9 are both supported.
