Gimpel3D converts single images or frame sequences into stereoscopic 3D using a combination of traditional approaches and a proprietary projective modeling system. The user works in true proportional space where the scene can be viewed from any location. The scene is edited geometrically in space using tools specifically designed to work with the perspective projection of the image. This creates a virtual workspace that is intuitive for the user and proportionally accurate. QuickShader is a program that allows you to write and test shaders without creating your own rendering engine. Using this tool you can quickly create many shaders based effects (i.e. phong lighting/shading, normal mapping, parallax occlusion mapping, pn-triangles and many more) that are used in modern games and simulations. Unfortunately program is restricted to shaders only, single pass pipelined effects. Effects based on postprocessing, blending and other techniques are currently unavailable (are planned for future releases).

Tested on Ubuntu this script goes out and grabs you a new blender build and puts in in $HOME/Blender Builds/Bleeding Edge. Defaults to gooseberry branch. Look at the defines at the top for tweekability. IMPORTANT: You must have wget installed first To install, in a terminal type: sudo apt-get install wget To use: extract: Upgrade Blender.sh to a directory open up the file in your text editor to tweak options. See inside the file for more info on that. Then run: Most distros you can dbl click and select open in terminal. Or manually in a terminal: SUDO access is not required... sh <path to file>

This tool is supposed to be able to calculate majority of basic problems of analytic geometry lessons at secondary schools. Calculations are done using a comprendious user interface and results are shown in well-organized tables as well as drawn into a 3D window. We took special care to integrate full support for interactive whiteboards reducing the need for using keyboard to minimum. We used different colors for every object to help users learn the user interface quickly.
