Fix STL files for 3D printing
ImatiSTL is a C++ library for applications that need to finely post-process raw polygon meshes represented by STL files. It is particularly useful in 3D printing scenarios: the repairing functions provided by ImatiSTL bridge the gap between printable meshes and real-world meshes with diverse potential defects and flaws (e.g. degenerate triangles, self-intersections, surface holes, ...). ImatiSTL provides both functions for local mesh repairing and methods for global remeshing. Local repairing is useful when the available data must remain exactly as it is in the input STL file, whereas global remeshing may fix even highly corrupted meshes at the cost of a small distortion in the resulting fixed mesh.

A microscopic pedestrian crowd simulation system and library
PEDSIM is a microscopic pedestrian crowd simulation system. The PEDSIM library allows you to use pedestrian dynamics in your own software. Based on pure C++ without additional packages, it runs virtually on every operating system. The PEDSIM Demo Application gives you a quick overview of the capabilities, and is a starting point for your own experiments. PEDSIM is suitable for use in crowd simulations (e.g. indoor evacuation simulation, large scale outdoor simulations), where one is interested in output like pedestrian density or evacuation time. Also, the quality of the individual agent's trajectory is high enough for creating massive pedestrian crowds in movies. Since libpedsim is easy to use and extend, it is a good starting point for science projects.

domes, vaults and eggs - program to create 3D models and plans
Command line application that enables you to create wide range of domes, vaults, tubes or egg-like shapes from triangular desks. The arch is always in the shape of catenary that makes it possible to design and build extremely tough models or buildings suitable for underground/underwater architecture. The program has two outputs. The first is OBJ file you can import to 3D modelling software, such as Autocad or Blender. The second output is CSV file you can open in OOCalc or Excel and use as plans for actual construction. The application is written in Tcl and released under WTFPL.
