NifTools aims to provide users with Tools to View, Edit, Create and Visualise 3D Models stored in the NetImmerse File Format. The NIF format is used by many popular games based on the NetImmerse/Gamebryo Game Engine such as Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim. We are creating a unified description of the NIF file format allowing our contributors to build tools and utilities, to facilitate user created content. The tools will allow users to: - View/Edit/Visualise the data of a NIF model. - Libraries to Read/Write the NIF Format. - Import/Export NIF models into various 3D package via Plug-ins. - Custom content creation for NetImmerse/Gamebryo Games.
"glh" stands for Graphics Library Helper.
"glh" which stands for Graphics Library Helper. It is kind of like OpenGL's GLU but contains extra functions and optimized functions. The optimizations are done with assembly and are for the x86 architecture. For Win32. For VC++6. It compiles and makes a DLL (and a .LIB for VC++6). The release version of the .H file is also included. Nothing stops you from using these functions in D3D. Actually, GLHLIB doesn't use any OpenGL functions.

Open source first/third person shooter set in real world locations
This project aims to make an open source shooter (with first person and/or third person view) set in real world locations that will be greatly affected by climate change. The game uses the Enemy Territory: Legacy game engine (for NSCOET), but we also promote the AssaultCube Reloaded and Urho3D game engine as respectively secondary and tertiary game engines. Since the game engine can be considered as just another tool (it is basically an advanced map/level viewer, the game engine isn't the most important aspect of the platform, and game developers wanting to use our maps can decide themselves which of these engines they wish to use. The most important aspect of this platform is the community of game developers themselves, the help they provide between one another, and the tools (which allow converting of models, maps, .. in between game engines). Virtual paper folding program
Origami Editor 3D is an advanced paper folding simulator. It uses a what-you-see-is-what-you-get interface and operates with a geometric abstraction of the Yoshizawa-Randlett system. Anything from a simple airplane to John Montroll's omega star can be folded in this editor. Origami files created with the program preserve the entire folding process, and they can be exported as folding diagrams in PDF, animated GIF files, or even as standalone Java programs displaying the origami in a 3D viewer when opened. The main purpose of this program is designing origami, but if you only want to learn how to make some origami figures, there is a set of built-in example files that can help you. Currently, there are 34 example figures available. Please note that this project was created for fun and still is a work in progress. A raytracer that tries to combine simplicity with power.
This project is aimed at designing a raytracer as powerful as povray with a simpler, more readable and more powerful SDL. The new SDL will basically be a fully blown interpreted language. Raytracing itself will be done in a shared library, allowing other software to use BrilliantAsReality's tracing abilities directly. Envisioned features: - scene description language should be: - - easy to learn (KISS) - - easy to use (common things can be described concisely) - - Object oriented - Image in image effects - Quaternion based rotations (simple to use, of course!) - Useable via SDL or shared library
