Using PHP-CLI to parse NMEA data to generate depth maps with GD. As fishing is a passion of mine,and it got me to consider using the NMEA formatted data output from my Lowrance 5-DSI Elite to generate a bathymetric map of the lake at my cottage. It is currently very crude, just a bunch of CLI scripts that record NMEA data, and the other parses the stored data and builds a depth, water temperature and sample frequency map. -

...The viewer can also be used to plot flights. The point of sale purchase system is Drupal based with a MySQL database. The remote device connects to the database using a Glassfish server and Jersey. This app has been available on Apple's iTunes App Store for over two years and has a 4+ star ratings. I have moved on to other things and while I've been maintaining it I'd like to see it continue to improve. That's is why I'm releasing it as an open source project. -

!!! Project servers were closed in the beginning of 2012 because the project was not actual anymore (massivity using Android and iOS devices instead of "simple" mobile phones). But source codes are always available as usual !!! A simple mobile j2me/web application that provides positioning of mobile devices connected to GSM/UMTS network or via GPS and lets you share location info by SMS or email. This project also contains GeoSignature Server j2ee application.

GpsPhoto.pl geotags digital photos by using GPS track data recorded at the same time. Matches are based on closest timestamps. An optionally generated Google Earth KML or KMZ file contains the GPS tracks and the geotagged photos.

Manara is a gps navigator project.it`s not complete yet now it supports reading shape files and can render the maps. The project is intended to be used in embedded gps devices. now it supports adding up to 5 layers. we hope we can add routing soon.
