This is a .Net implementation of the Whitestone Interactive GPS Software (WIGS). The previous version was written in Java and can be found here: http://wigs.sourceforge.net/

This program will read from an active GPS device and save it to a TXT file. This can then be used to fake a GPS signal while your developing your own GPS based project. I think its easier to develop this way from the home/office over having to bring the laptop outside and test / develop.
