GPS track editor for editing tracks and planning (multiple) day tours
JGPSTrackEdit is a tool for editing gps tracks and planning (multiple days) tours (GPS track editor). An abritary number of tracks may be opened or created, tracks may be merged. A track may be splitted, reversed or edited (e.g. compressed and corrected). Points may be inserted or appended to a track (routing supported) or may be moved or deleted from a track. Maps of several providers are available, the default map is OpenStreetMap. Currently supported track formats: Garmin gpx route, Garmin gpx track, Garmin tcx, kml and plain txt. JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. The EPC software calculates velocities for any points located on the earth’s surface given the Euler pole parameters and estimates the Euler pole parameters given the observed velocities of a set of sites located on a tectonic plate. Since version 2, the software is able to estimate or apply the Plate Translation Rates, as well. Convert a Garmin ADM database file to a GPX file
User data exported from later model Garmin GPSmap marine GPS sets consists of ADM files written to a VFAT-formatted SD card. This data includes user-generated waypoints and routes, and recorded GPS tracks. adm2gpx converts this data to industry-standard GPX records that may be imported into third-party mapping and GPS software. -

Fielddata Mgr Overview This is a Python program, which means that one must install the open source freely available Python interpreter and a few required also open source, freely available modules that support the functionality of the program. The program "Fielddata Mgr", is customized for the Rick survey department, in such that it supports up to 9 chiefs, each having their own folder in one location, 2 supervisers, each with a PC on the network, and access to a main server. Each day, the .RAW file is copied to the appropriate chiefs folder and when Fielddata Mgr is run, or the reload button is clicked, all .RAW files are listed along with a long list of all job folders existing in a designated location, and a short list of frequently accessed jobs that are selected from within the long list. When a .RAW file is selected, the contents are read, interpreted, and the results displayed within the program window. For remaining information please read the info sht. -

A small server-side application is dedicated to provide TCP-packets response and basic logging functionality from operating low cost commercially available GPS Vehicle Trackers such as Concox GT06N and perhaps others (GT06E and GT06F). The application is using POSIX API and intended to run on Unix, Linux and even Windows systems (cygwin environment). Currently it has been developed and tested on FreeBSD 14.3. Recently added limited support for VL103 series devices from Jimi IoT Co., Ltd..
