VMT allows to view your gps tracks on various formats of map, and to analyze the track performance both on numeric and graphical format. VMT also allows to manage different kind of mapsets and to manage your PoI and waypoints.

There are many good programs to manage gpx tracks from my sport activities. My favorite one is gps-prune to view gps tracks on a map and make changes.
