    kubefwd

    kubefwd

Bulk port forwarding Kubernetes services for local development

Kubernetes port forwarding for local development. kubefwd is a command line utility built to port forward multiple services within one or more namespaces on one or more Kubernetes clusters. kubefwd uses the same port exposed by the service and forwards it from a loopback IP address on your local workstation. kubefwd temporally adds domain entries to your /etc/hosts file with the service names it forwards. When working on our local workstation, my team and I often build applications that access services through their service names and ports within a Kubernetes namespace. kubefwd allows us to develop locally with services available as they would be in the cluster.

    Talisman

    Talisman

    Talisman validates the outgoing changeset

Talisman is a tool that installs a hook to your repository to ensure that potential secrets or sensitive information do not leave the developer's workstation. It validates the outgoing changeset for things that look suspicious - such as potential SSH keys, authorization tokens, private keys etc. Talisman can also be used as a repository history scanner to detect secrets that have already been checked in, so that you can take an informed decision to safeguard secrets. We recommend installing Talisman as a pre-commit git hook template, as that will cause Talisman to be present, not only in your existing git repositories, but also in any new repository that you 'init' or 'clone'. ...

    tlm

    tlm

Local CLI Copilot, powered by Ollama

...The project functions as a CLI copilot that helps developers generate commands, explain shell instructions, and answer technical questions directly from the terminal. Instead of relying on cloud APIs or paid AI services, TLM runs entirely on the user’s workstation and integrates with local models managed through the Ollama runtime. This approach allows developers to use powerful open-source models such as Llama, Phi, DeepSeek, and Qwen while maintaining privacy and avoiding external service dependencies. The system supports contextual queries where the AI analyzes files within a directory and generates answers based on project documentation or source code. ...

    OpenAlive
