If you want even more Golang examples, you can take a look at my other go repositories at GitHub. To execute a Golang program, write go run at the cli followed by the name of the file. You also can convert the file to a binary executable program by the command go build. One great aspect of Golang is, that you can start go applications via go run name.go, but also compile it to an executable with go build name.go.

    Lazygit

    Lazygit

Simple terminal UI for git commands

You've heard it before, git is powerful, but what good is that power when everything is so damn hard to do? Interactive rebasing requires you to edit a goddamn TODO file in your editor? Are you kidding me? To stage part of a file you need to use a command-line program to step through each hunk and if a hunk can't be split down any further but contains code you don't want to stage, you have to edit an arcane patch file by hand? Are you KIDDING me?! Sometimes you get asked to stash your changes when switching branches only to realize that after you switch and unstash that there weren't even any conflicts and it would have been fine to just check out the branch directly? ...

    WireGuard Go

    WireGuard Go

This is an implementation of WireGuard in Go

...The project enables systems that cannot run the native kernel module to still create secure WireGuard tunnels by operating entirely in user space. When executed, the program creates a virtual network interface that can be configured using standard networking tools such as wg and ip, closely mirroring the behavior of kernel implementations. The software is part of the broader WireGuard ecosystem, which aims to deliver a fast, simple, and modern VPN built on state-of-the-art cryptography. Because it runs in user space, wireguard-go is especially useful for platforms like macOS, Windows, or restricted environments where kernel modules are unavailable.

    eBPF

    eBPF

ebpf-go is a pure-Go library to read, modify and load eBPF programs

...It has no run-time dependencies outside of the library and the Linux kernel itself. eBPF code should be compiled ahead of time using clang, and shipped with your application as any other resource. Use the link subpackage to attach a loaded program to a hook in the kernel. Note that losing all references to Map and Program resources will cause their underlying file descriptors to be closed, potentially removing those objects from the kernel.

    hey

    hey

HTTP load generator, ApacheBench (ab) replacement

hey is a tiny program that sends some load to a web application. hey was originally called boom and was influenced from Tarek Ziade's tool at tarekziade/boom. Using the same name was a mistake as it resulted in cases where binary name conflicts created confusion. To preserve the name for its original owner, we renamed this project to hey. hey runs provided number of requests in the provided concurrency level and prints stats.

    qrcp

    qrcp

Transfer files over wifi from your computer to your mobile device

qrcp binds a web server to the address of your Wi-Fi network interface on a random port and creates a handler for it. The default handler serves the content and exits the program when the transfer is complete. When used to receive files, qrcp serves an upload page and handles the transfer. Most QR apps can detect URLs in decoded text and act accordingly (i.e. open the decoded URL with the default browser), so when the QR code is scanned the content will begin downloading by the mobile browser. When sending multiple files at once, qrcp creates a zip archive of the files or folders you want to transfer, and deletes the zip archive once the transfer is complete. ...
