...If you don't have the dependencies installed, this will locally take care of all OCaml dependencies for you (downloading them, unless you used the inclusive archive we provide for each release). This is all you need for installing and using opam, but if you want to use the opam-lib (to work on opam-related tools), you need to link it to installed libraries. It's easier to already have a working opam installation in this case, so you can do it as a second step. If you install on your system (without changing the prefix), you will need to install as root (sudo). As sudo do not propagate environment variables, there wil be some errors. -

YaDT - Yet another Diff Tool. It is another front-end for diff and in earlier versions diff3 utility. With YaDT you can compare and merge 2 and/or 3 files. YaDT is written on Tcl/Tk and wrapped in a single executable file with the help of sdx and tclkit. diff and cvs utilities are embedded inside YaDT. Also, YaDT supports Git and Mercurial repositories, but git and hg are not embedded inside YaDT, you should have git/hg executable in your path environment. -

It's being actively developed since 2015 and is being used extensively by Keybase, Gitea or Pulumi, and by many other libraries and tools. After the legal issues with the src-d organization, the lack of update for four months and the requirement to make a hard fork, the project is now back to normality. The project is currently actively maintained by individual contributors, including several of the original authors, but also backed by a new company, gitsight, where go-git is a critical component used at scale. go-git aims to be fully compatible with git, all the porcelain operations are implemented to work exactly as git does. -
