All Git command options specified on the command line will be passed to the given command and all will be shell quoted before they are passed to the shell. -

...At first I started developing it for my own study, because I was interested in learning how to use Git and how it worked inside. Some of the best engineers of the time may think Git in GUI. That's a lot of it. When I want to execute a command that I rarely use, I sometimes force myself to do not rely on the GUI, open the terminal and hand enter the git command.
