GeographicLib is a small C++ library for: geodesic and rhumb line calculations; conversions between geographic, UTM, UPS, MGRS, geocentric, and local cartesian coordinates; gravity (e.g., EGM2008) and geomagnetic field (e.g., WMM2020) calculations.

A web based Metadata Catalog Server for data description and discovery. Supports both generic and geospatial data discovery. It implements international standards (e.g. ISO19115/19139/19119, ISO19115-3, DCAT-AP, CSW 2.0, OGC API Records). It originates from the United Nations and is used by many governments as geoportal software. Active development and discussion takes place on GitHub and OSGeo Discourse. Mapbox GL JS is a JavaScript library that uses WebGL to render interactive maps from vector tiles and Mapbox styles. It is part of the Mapbox GL ecosystem, which includes Mapbox Mobile, a compatible renderer written in C++ with bindings for desktop and mobile platforms. Mapbox GL JS is part of the cross-platform Mapbox GL ecosystem, which also includes compatible native SDKs for applications on Android, iOS, macOS, Qt, and React Native. Mapbox provides building blocks to add location features like maps, search, and navigation into any experience you create. OpenSeaMap's goal is to add nautical and tourism information a sailor could be interested in to OSM (OpenStreetMap) and to present it in a pleasing way. Those include beacons, buoys and other seamark and port information.

ArgooMap is an online, map-based discussion forum, which allows participants to reference their contributions to geographic locations. This project helps to digitize field data for a certain Bird Census method. Namely, bird census based on personal inspection or small (~10 km^2) regions with recording birds' position and behaviour on paper. BizGEO is an open source platform developed to provide a simple interface for geographical data collection and data storage. BizGEO is integrated with a standard open source map server (GeoServer) to form an integrated GIS data collection suite. Check out the showcase : http://gwt-mapfish.sourceforge.net/showcase/GwtMapFishShowcase.html I see there are still some downloads, so I feel I have to advise against using this project. It barely has any functionality, and anyway you'd be better off with home-made GWT widgets and Java logic. GWT-OpenLayers is OK, but don't go further in JS-library wrapping, or it gets messy.

GeoAr intends to be a rich client for WMS and WFS services. It's developed on LZX (OpenLaszlo), so it would serve dhtml(near future) and flash to the user's browser giving the chance of select between them, but having only one server's cource code.

GeoCity is a map maker with the possibility to use dynamic HTML Forms to collect geographic data and share this information with other users. It uses the Google Maps API for creation and management of geographic elements and related data.
