...Tiled's map format (TMX) is easy to understand and allows multiple tilesets to be used in any map. Tilesets can be modified at any time. Tiled is a general purpose tile map editor for all tile-based games, such as RPGs, platformers or Breakout clones. Tiled was originally written in Java. In 2008, work began to develop a faster, better looking, and easier-to-use version of Tiled based on the Qt framework. This decision was made as the Qt framework has a greater feature set than is offered by the standard Java libraries. Before you can compile Tiled, you must ensure the Qt (>= 5.6) development libraries have been installed as well as the Qbs build tool. -

Break-Out
The classical breakout game for hours of fun !
This game is a nice remake of the traditional brick breaker game, which rules are the following. Bounce the little ball with the bar to destroy all the bricks. Try to survive all the levels to get a nice score or go as fast as you can to make the best chronos and be in the high-scores. Good luck ! If the game does not launch correctly, you probably have to install a more recent version of Java. I uploaded a light version of the game (without the soundtrack). Feel free to leave a review ! -

written in python 2.7.x and pygame 1.9.1&2 I have not found anything playing with more than 2 childrens with serverals computers. A game easy, addictive, and not too long playing time. So, i made it: an arkanoid / breakout clone which have the particularity to play at 360°. pybreak360.cfg to fine configure outside game. pybreak360_kbd.py for special international keymap. on game, use mouse or arrow keys. press B to start/stop ComputerBootPlayer. press H to see HiScores. press D for LevelDesigner (see in levels/*.level to edit/create fine configured levels as BrickArray, Background, Music, ...) ... -
