    GalGen Trader

    GalGen Trader

    A 2D Elite-style game written in Python 3.2.

...One of its most important features is the ability for extension modules to be added that can change just about any feature of the program; from new weapons and devices, to adventure modules that add new 'mini-plots' (similar to the Galactic Adventures DLC for Spore), to modules that replace parts of the core game. This functionality is supported by the game being written in Python 3, with its powerful support for including external code at run-time. The graphics will be a simple mixture of 2D raster and vector imagery with text-based menus, and the music will be highly reminiscent of the 80's 'chiptunes' that made up the soundtracks for games on the Amiga and Commodore 64.

    Stone Lantern V1.0 (MC 1.5.1/1.5.2)
...Then having to plant, wait for them to grow and harvest them. You can't even place Jack-O-Lanterns without a block under them first. Who wants to look at that all of the time anyway? - Redstone Lanterns: You literally have to go to Hell (The Nether) and back to craft them. And they have to be powered by a Redstone Torch or a Switch. Too much of a pain to craft, and not Renewable. I hope Mojang adds this to Minecraft in a future update. PS: Source Code is also included in the zip files. :-)

    SANKit

Read and write PGN format and test moves for legality.

SAN Kit was made public in 1993 by Stephen Edwards, the inventor of PGN Chess notation. The original code is in C, and with few comments quite cryptic. In addition, the original author's style was quite quixotic, making it even more difficult to read. This code is now reformatted to modern standards, adds support for NAG codes and comments, and has a "non-CLI" mode for inclusion in chess playing programs. The code has gone through extensive analysis using the llvm/clang compiler and reports no issues at this time. ...

    Bugger!

    Bugger!

    A debugging-themed top-down shooter

"Bugger!" is a little debugging-themed "top-down shooter" game. The player takes on the role of a programmer trying to clear bugs out of a project using an array of pun-y weapons. I need to put this on hold for a while, so I'm posting the source in the meantime. Never fear though, I'll be back ;-) Requires SFML 1.6 to compile/run, but tinyxml source-code is included with the project.

The BLEU project was created with C++, OGRE, RBGUI, and OIS. Obviously the code structure is not the most ideal imaginable, but I was hard pressed for time when I wrote it. If I were to write it today, it would be completely different. As you can see in my GPE documentation, I no longer use the friend keyword quite so liberally (In fact, haven't used it once in GPE). The naming convention I have used is a bit wonky as well.
