2D motorcycle simulator done using Lagrangian equations of motion
2D simulation game using exlusively Lagrangian equations of motion. It's a 2D motocross game similar to X-Moto, ActionSupercross and such. Some stability issues persist but mostly it's good already. I shall compile it soon for Windows: one of the problems is that Windows compilers must periodically be reinstalled, and that's annoying. Using Lagrangians in games is not a well documented thing, but it allows to achieve exellent results in very little time, soon after a good parametrization... -

...I found it on a hard drive I got back from a friend who died a few years ago. I only looked because we're moving. It's been modified to work with VS2008, DirectX9 and to fix a couple of bugs.

...I tried to render everything with OpenGL and as expected, found myself in the middle of a multitude of problems relating to it. The blocks look a lot cooler in 3d though, so I hope I'll manage to resume studying what went wrong and eventually fix it. If I had a Windows machine to do development on, I might try to rewrite everything in Unity, but until they make a Linux dev platform, I think I'll remain with pygame and pyOpenGL.

...When you scan files already renamed by the TOSEC standard, consider that file names may become insanely long in no time. --UPDATE OCTOBER 2014-- This project is currently suspended! I can't currently find the time to fix/update anything with this program and hence it must be considered 'on hold' at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks to Rich Skrenta releasing the source in May 2009, there is now a chance for the rest of us to look at Olympia and maybe fix it up to run a game again.

This projects will implement some tools to create, process, upgrade, edit and patch configuration files of X-Plane. For now there will be two tools: A Tool to remove duplicate fix points (command line) and (much bigger) a version 850 Airport Editor.
