You all know this: Mojang released the new version of Minecraft and the game wants to be updated now. But all the mods what you added to the game is not working because the are not released yet for the new version. Now is the time to check every hour/day/week for changes at wiki's Mods page. I was annoyed to do that and wrote a windows sidebar gadget, which will do that for me. Yes, i know, the time for gadgets is running out. If i see some interest, i will create this as stand-alone application.
