JSettlers2 is a web-based version of the board game Settlers of Catan written in Java. This client-server system supports multiple simultaneous games between people and/or AIbots. Originally written by Robert S Thomas as an AI dissertation (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jsettlers).

MekaWars is a game of the programming-game genre: in this kind of games like JRobots or Gun-Tactyx the player programs the AI of his team of bots and then watch them fight against teams programmed by other players. In this case the game is set in outer space and the players write the control script of star-fighter pilots and star-ship captains. The players write the AI of their bots using the Lua programming language.
Laser Tactics is a 3D single or multi-player FPS strategy game. It's a cross between like Quake and Tremulous, except it's pseudo-turn based, you control a squad, and there are specific mission objectives. There is also an advanced AI to play against!

Emergent Mercenary is a 3D FPS with strategy overtones, and an excerise in emergent gaming. It should be easy to setup a scenario (e.g. hunt criminal) just by placing characters with certain AI into the game and see them interact.
JROBOTS is a Java Programming Game. Some bots fight in an arena firing missiles and avoiding enemies' projectiles. The players write the AI algorithms of their bots and then upload their bots in the on-line arena to compete against other bots.
