Python/Pygame Game-Building Framework
A template I created to help me organize my Pygame code, that I decided to share for everyone's use. I built it to help me organize all of the programming practices I have seen in different Pygames, tutorials, books, and other sources, to help me make a robust framework that I can simply copy-paste to start new projects with. This package was originally known as "Santo's Pygame Template", but I've renamed it to "PygameFrame" since. This is merely a skeleton to build a game from; and being open-source, you are encouraged to do what you need to it to build your game, with the speed and finesse provided for your re-tooling. The main file, "game.py", runs the whole game. Everything in the DIR_data directory are the components to the system. Look in each one to see how they work. I have not updated this page for quite some time as our primary project website is www.SundogResurrectionProject.com. However, I wanted to make notification that the BETA RELEASE is about to drop. Yup, at long last! Bruce "hired" me onto the Sundog Resurrection Team back in 2002 and through the years we soldiered on between periods of dormancy and crew turnover but always keeping the momentum forwards. The Beta version is vastly more advanced than the Alpha version we released three years ago, and is a fairly polished game that meet's Bruce Webster's goal of recreating the original Sundog and adding additional features and creating a pocket galaxy with convincing verisimilitude.
