EasyRPG Player is a game interpreter to play RPG Maker 2000, 2003, and EasyRPG games. It uses the LCF parser library (liblcf) to read RPG Maker game data. EasyRPG Player is a program that allows to play games created with RPG Maker 2000 and 2003. It aims to be a free (as in freedom) cross-platform RPG Maker 2000/2003 interpreter. The main goal is to play all games created with them as the original game interpreter (RPG_RT) does. This project is being developed.

Game engine and parser built using Python. Runs "stagetext" files, which may contain embedded LISP code. The LISP code is handled by a modified version of Peter Norvig's lispy. Each game consists of a series of states with links to other states. Each link has an associated description that is displayed to the user. To choose a link, the user must type a few characters from the description of the link the user wishes to follow.
