    The Mind Module

    Gives agents personality, moods, emotions and emotional attachments.

    The Mind Module (MM) is a spreading activation network (SAN) that can be used as part of an avatar, non-player character (NPC), or agent architecture for providing dynamic and fine-grained states of mind. The MM models a character's personality as a collection of traits, maintains dynamic emotional state as a function of interactions with objects in the environment, and summarises an avatar's current emotional state in terms of `mood'. In the folder MMUnity (see Files) you will find an implementation of the MindModule for Unity by Henrik Warpefelt and Staffan Widegarn Åhlvik. The original C++ code by Mirjam P Eladhari is currently being brought into the 21st century and will appear here in the near future. Drop us an email if you wish to access the code as is.

    TurboSphere

    TurboSphere is an easy to learn and powerful JS based game engine.

    TurboSphere is an intuitive and easy to learn game engine. It is generally modeled after the Sphere RPG engine for its API, although the API has been modernized. It uses JavaScript as its game logic language, and supports many common file types for resources. TurboSphere uses Google V8 for JavaScript execution and SDL for graphics, audio, input and most other game related functions. It includes a map engine intended for top-down, zelda like games. Other, script based map engines are possible, and several have been implemented for TurboSphere's predecessor, Sphere (like the Majestic Map Engine (http://spheredev.org/smforums/index.php?topic=4496.0)). TurboSphere is largely compatible with the Sphere RPG engine, the main API change is the replacement of object creating functions with proper JavaScript constructors. This means that there are several completed games already made that work with TurboSphere, requiring only a small set of compatibility scripts to function in TurboSphere.

    Vegastrike is an old open source game , cool but unfinished . And while there is still a community , the project is in orbit in a kinda space cimetery . The game can run under Windows,Linux ,Mac . BUT : It is complicated to work with the original SVN repositery , while the admins aren't reactive . So i decided to create that hub , with a trunk based upon the 0.5.1rc1 of Vegastrike . Let's Vegastrike be evolved , with new goals : _Dynamic Market system , better AI , mission and campain editor , etc ... _MMO : Create somewhere a dedicated host to help debug the actual working network code .
