You don’t specify the exact coordinates at which a given control should reside, but rather let stack panels, dock panels, and other layout managers do their work. I don’t claim it’s THE right way of doing things, it’s just what my background is. The ConsoleGUI (as many other UI frameworks) is not thread-safe. All UI changes should be performed from the same thread. -
