FIFE is a cross platform 2D game creation framework written in C++ with Python bindings. It's designed to be flexible enough to support a wide variety of 2D game types but specializes in 2D isometric type views.

A simple framework for plugin system development with as few dependencies as possible. It is designed to offer a set of very lean classes (plugin managers and plugin interfaces) which can easily be customised by decoration or inheritance. Yapsy v1.x supports Python2 and Python3. The main purpose of the Moonlight Engine is to be a general 2D game engine geared towards tile-based games, and RPGs specifically. Support for online games is also planned.

The purpose of the project is to develop a portable programming framework that facilitates distributed and multi-threaded programming for C++, Java, and Python. MADARA was originally developed as an agent-based middleware specifically for real-time, distributed artificial intelligence, but is now more general purpose for distributed timing, control, knowledge and reasoning, and quality-of-service. MADARA is composed of several tools and middleware, and the main entry point into the system is the Knowledge and Reasoning Language (KaRL) Engine, which provides a real-time scripting language for nanosecond execution times hooked into a flexible transport layer for distributed reasoning. The KaRL engine also supports object-oriented C++, Java, and Python programming through Containers, classes that provide abstractions and references for variable location within the KaRL Knowledge Base.
