A framework for Privacy Preserving Machine Learning
CrypTen is a research framework developed by Facebook Research for privacy-preserving machine learning built directly on top of PyTorch. It provides a secure and intuitive environment for performing computations on encrypted data using Secure Multiparty Computation (SMPC). Designed to make secure computation accessible to machine learning practitioners, CrypTen introduces a CrypTensor object that behaves like a regular PyTorch tensor, allowing users to seamlessly apply automatic differentiation and neural network operations. Its design mirrors PyTorch’s modular and library-based structure, enabling flexible experimentation, debugging, and model development. The framework supports both encryption and decryption of tensors and operations such as addition and multiplication over encrypted values. Although not yet production-ready, CrypTen focuses on advancing real-world secure ML applications, such as training and inference over private datasets, without exposing sensitive data. -

Django-extra-views is a Django package that introduces additional class-based views in order to simplify common design patterns such as those found in the Django admin interface. Supported Python and Django versions: Python 3.5+, Django 2.1–3.2, see tox.ini for an up-to-date list. Add support for pagination in ModelFormSetView and its derivatives, the goal being to be able to mimic the change_list view in Django's admin. Currently, this is proving difficult because of how Django's MultipleObjectMixin handles pagination. -

This is very useful when later resizing and cropping images with easy_thumbnails. The image can then be cropped automatically in a way, that the important part of the image is always visible. Django-fsm adds simple declarative state management for Django models. If you need parallel task execution, view, and background task code reuse over different flows - check my new project Django-view flow. Instead of adding a state field to a Django model and managing its values by hand, you use FSMField and mark model methods with the transition decorator. These methods could contain side effects of the state change. You may also take a look at the Django-fsm-admin project containing a mixin and template tags to integrate Django-fsm state transitions into the Django admin. FSM really helps to structure the code, especially when a new developer comes to the project. FSM is most effective when you use it for some sequential steps. Transition logging support could be achieved with help of django-fsm-log package. -

An extensible network forensic analysis framework. Enables rapid development of plugins to support the dissection of network packet captures. This is a major framework update to Dshell. Plugins written for the previous version are not compatible with this version, and vice versa. By extension, dpkt and pypcap have been replaced with Python3-friendly pypacker and pcapy (respectively). Enables development of external plugin packs, allowing the sharing and installation of new, externally-developed plugins without overlapping the core Dshell libraries. Plugins can now use all output modules, available to the command line switch, -O. That does not mean every output module will be useful to every plugin (e.g. using netflow output for a plugin that looks at individual packets), but they are available. -

Codename EH Forwarder Bot (EFB) is an extensible message tunneling chat bot framework that delivers messages to and from multiple platforms and remotely controls your accounts. Since the majority of our channels are using polling for message retrieval, a stable internet connection is necessary for channels to run smoothly. An unstable connection may lead to slow response, or loss of messages. EFB uses a *nix user configuration style, which is described in details in Directories. In short, if you are using the default configuration, you need to create ~/.ehforwarderbot, and give read and write permission to the user running EFB. Currently, all modules that was submitted to us are recorded in the modules repository. You can choose the channels that fits your need the best. When you have successfully installed the modules of your choices, you can the use the configuration wizard which guides you to enable channels and middlewares, and continue to setup those modules. -

ElastAlert
Easy and flexible alerting with ElasticSearch
We designed ElastAlert to be reliable, highly modular, and easy to set up and configure. It works by combining Elasticsearch with two types of components, rule types and alerts. Elasticsearch is periodically queried and the data is passed to the rule type, which determines when a match is found. When a match occurs, it is given to one or more alerts, which take action based on the match. This is configured by a set of rules, each of which defines a query, a rule type, and a set of alerts. Several rule types with common monitoring paradigms are included with ElastAlert. Alerts link to Kibana dashboards. Aggregate counts for arbitrary fields. Combine alerts into periodic reports. Separate alerts by using a unique key field. Intercept and enhance match data. Additional rule types and alerts can be easily imported or written. -
