    AI Berkshire

    AI Berkshire

AI-era Berkshire: a value investing research framework

AI Berkshire is an AI-assisted value investing research framework designed for Claude Code and Codex workflows. It turns the investment methods of Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Duan Yongping, and Li Lu into structured research agents. The project is meant to improve research depth, decision discipline, and analytical consistency compared with asking a general AI model for a one-off stock opinion. It uses parallel agent analysis, adversarial viewpoints, financial rigor checks, and repeatable report formats to reduce shallow or overly balanced conclusions. The framework covers company research, earnings review, industry screening, portfolio thinking, management analysis, and investment checklists. It is best understood as a research and decision-support system rather than a source of financial advice.

    After.js

    After.js

Next.js-like framework for server-rendered React apps

Next.js is awesome. However, its routing system isn't for me. IMHO React Router is a better foundation upon which such a framework should be built, and that's the goal here. Routes are just components and don't / should not have anything to do with folder structure. Static route configs are fine. Next.js's getInitialProps was/is a brilliant idea. Route-based code-splitting should come for free or be easy to opt into. Route-based transitions/analytics/data loading/preloading etc., should either come for free or be trivial to implement on your own. After.js enables Next. js-like data fetching with any React SSR app that uses React Router. You can quickly bootstrap an SSR React app with After.js using Razzle. While Razzle is not required, this documentation assumes you have the tooling setup for an isomorphic React application. Refer to Razzle's docs for tooling, babel, and webpack customization.

    Akavache

    Akavache

    An asynchronous, persistent key-value store

An asynchronous, persistent key-value store created for writing desktop and mobile applications, based on SQLite3. Akavache is great for both storing important data as well as cached local data that expires. Downloading and storing remote data from the internet while still keeping the UI responsive is a task that nearly every modern application needs to do. However, many applications that don't take the consideration of caching into the design from the start often end up with inconsistent, duplicated code for caching different types of objects. Akavache is a library that makes common app patterns easy, and unifies caching of different object types (i.e. HTTP responses vs. JSON objects vs. images). It's built on a core key-value byte array store (conceptually similar to a Dictionary<string, byte[]>), and on top of that store, extensions are added to support Arbitrary objects via JSON.NET.

    Alfy

    Alfy

    Create Alfred workflows with ease

Alfy offers the possibility of caching data, either with the fetch or directly through the cache object. An important thing to note is that the cached data gets invalidated automatically when you update your workflow. This offers the flexibility for developers to change the structure of the cached data between workflows without having to worry about invalid older data. You can remove these properties from your info.plist file as they are being added automatically at install time. When developing your workflow it can be useful to be able to debug it when something is not working. This is when the workflow debugger comes in handy. You can find it in your workflow view in Alfred. Press the insect icon to open it. Alfred lets users set environment variables for a workflow which can then be used by that workflow. This can be useful if you, for example, need the user to specify an API token for a service. You can access the workflow environment variables from process.env.

    Apache Flink

    Apache Flink

Stream processing framework with powerful stream

Apache Flink is a distributed engine for stateful computations over data streams and batches, designed for low-latency processing at scale. Its core runtime executes dataflow graphs with fine-grained backpressure and checkpointing, allowing applications to recover consistently from failures. Flink’s event-time model and watermarks enable accurate out-of-order processing, windowing, and complex time semantics that typical real-time systems struggle with. Developers program against high-level APIs—DataStream and Table/SQL—to express transformations, joins, and stateful patterns, while specialized libraries support CEP, machine learning workflows, and connectors. A rich connector ecosystem integrates with systems like Kafka, Kinesis, filesystems, JDBC sources/sinks, and object stores. Deployments span Kubernetes, YARN, Mesos, and standalone clusters, and operational features such as savepoints, state backends, and metrics make long-running jobs manageable in production.
