This project is an API I have created over the years and ported to several languages. It contains tools, structures, and algorithms I have found useful in graphics, robotics, and machine vision applicaitons. Points, Lines, Vectors, etc.

Vlc.DotNet is a .net library that hosts the audio/video capabilities of the VLC libraries. In other words, it's a .net wrapper around libvlc. That's why a new control has been written. To be fair, first versions of Vlc.DotNet were built with that technique, but back then, there were issues in the .net framework causing the memory usage to explode. As of 2018, this issue is resolved. The old WPF control was just a wrapper around the WinForms control. This led to some issues (Airspace issue...) and lacked some WPF-ish features. Web Objects in XML (Framework) is an interoperable and lightweight system for distributed objects. It is currently built in Java and C#. Remote objects are serialized in a standard XML format, and they are accessible trough their own URL.

Web Objects in XML (serializer) provides easy XML serialization of Java and C# objects. Objects are serialized to a file in a standard XML format. They can then be de-serialized either to Java or C#.

WPF doesn't support DataAnnotations and IValidatableObject out of the box. This project fills this gap via adapters to the IDataErrorInfo interface which is supported by the WPF validation infrastructure. Your code becomes more DRY since DataAnnotations are supported by major MS technologies such as Entity Framework and ASP.NET MVC. At the top it defines a small internal DSL for defining validation rules that span multiple members (such as DateRange) that make those rules a no brainer. The project is not yet fully completed. Currently there is no flexibility to pass-through only some of the rules in a specific view or to change the error messages from a view. Feel free to participate and improve this project.
